Inspiring young people to change the way they think about energy
Welcome to Generation Green, an education programme run by British Gas for school children, their teachers, and their families. We aim to inspire young people to change the way they think about and use energy, through providing free teaching resources, volunteer-led educational experiences, and awarding schools with energy makeovers through our competitions!
We have a number of fun and interactive educational resources for Key Stages 1 to 4 which are free for you to download. All of our resources are curriculum linked, and have been designed to help you bring the topic of energy to life! From simple hand-outs to interactive games and experiences, you’ll be sure to find something which meets your needs and engages your pupils!

St Wenn School is on top of the hill and very exposed, and before the Generation Green makeover it could be freezing in school.
